Cammie Campbell is a dedicated public servant with more than three decades of experience in the probate court system. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for professionalism, compassion, and a deep commitment to serving individuals and families during some of life's most difficult moments.
Cammie has spent over 30 years working alongside some of South Carolina's most respected probate judges, as well as their associate judges. She has served the court in a range of specialized roles, gaining a comprehensive, firsthand understanding of the probate process from every angle.
In each of these roles, Cammie has worked closely with judges, attorneys, and members of the community — learning the system not from the outside, but from inside the courtroom every day.
While working full-time, Cammie earned her Associate Degree in Public Service with a focus in Paralegal Studies from Midlands Technical College in 1998. Her career has been defined by a hands-on approach to helping individuals navigate complex legal matters with clarity, dignity, and respect.
She understands that probate court is often encountered during times of loss, uncertainty, or transition — and she has dedicated her life to guiding people through those moments with steady leadership and care.
Known for her calm demeanor and strong sense of integrity, Cammie is committed to upholding the highest standards of accountability in the courtroom. Her experience, combined with her servant's heart, has allowed her to consistently provide high-quality legal support while treating every person she encounters with compassion.
Outside of her professional life, Cammie is a devoted wife to her husband, Freddie, and a proud mother of five. Their family farm is located in Richland County, where they have spent years raising their children and building a life centered around faith, hard work, and service.
Today, Cammie and her family call Lexington County home. As their sons take on a greater role in farm operations, Cammie and her husband are restoring a cherished family home on the lake — one that has been in their family since the 1960s — continuing a legacy that reflects their deep commitment to family and community.
Cammie is proud to serve Lexington County and remains committed to ensuring the probate court operates with fairness, efficiency, and compassion for every person it serves.
